Tahini Cauliflower Steak

This recipe is so so easy because you just prep the veggies and pop them in the oven for about 25 minutes, and you’re meal is basically complete! This is a great option if you are plant based or just don’t feel like cooking up a meaty steak! I topped mine over a bead of lettuce and quinoa and it was super filling and satisfying.

Serves 2

The prep:

  1. Heat the oven to 425F. Cut up your cauliflower into steaks (usually can make 3) and slice your onion. Add cauliflower, carrots, onions and whole garlic cloves to a baking sheet and lather with olive oil, s&p, paprika and chipotle seasoning. Place on the top rack of the oven and bake for about 25 minutes or until steaks are cooked

  2. Make the tahini sauce and quinoa while the steaks are cooking.

  3. Place all ingredients on a plate and drizzle the tahini sauce over the steaks

  • 1 head of cauliflower, sliced into steaks

  • Onion, sliced

  • Garlic

  • Olive oil

  • Smoked paprika, chipotle
