Almond Flour Brownies

These brownies are gluten free, refined sugar free and will melt in your mouth! Using dates as the sweetener is a much healthier option vs refined sugars and still adds plenty of sweetness.

PS - this is a great passover recipe for those who celebrate!

Serves 8-12

The prep:

1.Heat oven to 350F. In a medium size bowl, add all dry ingredients and mix. Follow with wet ingredients. Mix well. If seems too dry, add a bit of mylk. Remember, almond flour does not absorb a lot of moisture so you do not want the batter to be liquidy.

2.Lather a baking pan with coconut oil or parchment paper. Pour in batter and bake in the oven for about 15 minutes. Allow to cool before indulging!

The goods:

  • 2 cups almond flour

  • 1/3 cup date sugar

  • 1/3 cup coconut oil

  • 1/4 cup cacao

  • 2 eggs or flax egg

  • 1/2 tsp salt + sprinkle extra on top

  • Optional adds:

  • 1/4 cup choco chips

  • 2-4 tbsp plant based mylk
