Banana Almond Butter Cookies
The perfect way to end your weekend is with these chewy banana cookies. Only takes 10 minutes to prep and 15 minutes to bake.
*Insider scoop*: you must bake these just to the point of formation and then refrigerate for that extra soft, chewy texture
The goods:
1 cup flour
1/2 cup butter, melted
1/4 cup almond butter
1 banana
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/3 cup maple syrup
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
LOTS of mini chocolate chips
The prep:
1. Turn the oven on to 350F. In a small bowl, mix dry ingredients together. In a large bowl mash banana and then add butter, almond butter, vanilla, maple syrup and egg. Fully combine
2. Begin to slowly add dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing with a wooden spoon until fully incorporated. Finish with chocolate chips.
3. Bake in oven for 15 minutes or just until cookies begin to hold its form. Take out a place in the refrigerator for extra doughy, chewy cookies… good luck not eating the whole batch
